Coffee was good and the service was very nice??

The coffee was delicious.

Arguably the best place in the city to go for a slice of cake. Excellent location looking out on Marktplatz with the historical Rathaus and beautiful Marienkirche. A bit pricey for a slice of cake and a coffee, but a must visit for any visitor to Osnabrück and for special/rare occasions.

Mega delicious breakfast buffet. There is nothing to complain about here ...

Not what it used to be. Breakfast at the table (okay because of Corona), however, the rolls were sticky or sometimes too crispy. The rolls tasted like baked from the day before. The scrambled eggs were cold. We could see how our plates were being prepared, but the waitress looked more often at the plates and then looked away again and only then did other things. The waiter was rude and in a bad mood. There was no tip, the waiter didn't even say goodbye. We won't come back for now.

A popular café in the old town of Osnabrück. Excellent breakfast buffet, courteous waiters a good place for breakfast and good cakes.

The café there is nice, the service was very friendly. There is a great selection of cakes / tarts. We had different pieces of cake (4 pieces) and a vanilla shake. Everything tasted good, except for the marzipan cake. It was unfortunately dry that day and tasted strongly of rum, which was a bit disappointing. We could sit outside in the sun and would come over again despite the sad marzipan cake experience :)

Breakfast at the table as there was no buffet. Waiter not exactly friendly. Buns were sticky and not cross. Egg was only lukewarm. Have had much better breakfast in Osnabrück. Not a second time for me.

Long-established cafe, matching interior. The staff is excellent, quick and courteous. Cakes, pastries and of course the large breakfast buffet are unbeatable. The only drawback are the sanitary facilities which are on the first floor and should be looked after a little more (hygiene standards are not up to date)

Based on many good recommendations to have breakfast there, I made my own picture. I have to say I am really disappointed. The cafe and orange juice are much too watery and the rolls too flabby. Price performance simply does not fit. My conclusion is not recommended. The nice staff and the ambience are positive.

We could enjoy the sunshine in front of the cafe as well as the food and the particularly delicious cakes. The staff were quick and friendly. The toilet rooms can only be reached via an uncomfortable staircase. It will be difficult for the disabled and wheelchair users.

Super tasty cakes

The Café am Markt is centrally located in the old town of Osnabrück. In summer there is an opportunity to sit outside and enjoy a café and cake there. The furnishings are rustic and chandeliers hang from the ceiling to create a pleasant atmosphere. The brunch they offer is simply delicious. The selection is extensive. During the week there is also a lunch table with various dishes. If you want to eat coffee and cake there on Sundays, you should be there in time. Because around 3:30 p.m. it is difficult to get a free seat. Because this café is extremely popular. The service is always nice and attentive. The café is known for its large selection of different delicious cakes, all of which are homemade. If I want to eat coffee and cake, the café on the market is my first choice. So I can recommend it to everyone.

The cake was nice and drinks too but if you want to talk to friends then it can be a bit too loud. On Sundays it's better to go there before 16 Uhr otherwise after you can't get a table.

Probably the best Brunch place in the city

Reserved in time, we were able to enjoy breakfast in the Café am Markt. And the wait was worth it. Rich, varied, fresh and delicious. This is a very friendly and attentive staff. Especially the service boss radiated a friendly serenity. Since you could forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Since the 5 stars are gladly forgiven. Actually 5 stars +. We will gladly come again.

Trendy cafe, good service, pricey but you get what you pay for.

Perfect self made cakes. Sitting outside in the sun (optional) and watching people passing by Marienkirche is a favorite pastime.

Located very strategically next to the Rathaus, this cafe serves terrific cakes. And very nice atmosphere inside.

Absolutely delicious homemade fresh cakes. And huge pieces ! Wonderful salad bar and more. Great place in the heart of Osnabrück.

One of the best lunches I've had. The food is excellent and there is a lot of food too choose from. I can highly recommend this place.

Posh, nice cakes

Very nice place but very bad service. The beers came with half an hour from ordering and were already warm.
